Daily Structure for This Stage

This is not a 30-day curriculum with specific day-by-day instructions. It is a working period whose length is determined by your tracking data. The daily structure is consistent throughout.

Morning

Before the day begins - before the phone, before the news, before anything external - read the awareness prompt for your active contradiction. Memorize it. It needs to be available in real time, not retrieved later.

Then sit for 10 minutes. Begin with the heart meditation. Locate your sense of self. Let awareness emerge in the heart. By now the descent that was your early instruction has become a recognition - the heart awareness was always present; you have learned to rest in it. Remain there. When you drift, return.

During the Day

Carry the awareness prompt. Not as a thought you're having about yourself - as a question you're holding lightly while you live. The answer to the question arrives in real time, in specific moments. Not through reflection. Through noticing.

Use the heart meditation when you notice the contradiction activating. Let awareness emerge in the heart before responding. The gap that creates is where the 3 and 4 scores happen.

Evening

Before sleep, review the day. Score the active contradiction on the 0-4 scale. Record the score. Complete the evening reflection - one specific honest answer to the reflection question for your active contradiction.

Also score the five categories from Stage 2. They continue to run in background. The Stage 2 categories show you what happened. The Stage 3 contradiction shows you why.

When You're Stuck

What to do when the scores stop moving.

Some students reach a contradiction and stop making progress. The scores plateau at 1s and 2s. Three resets happen in a row. The weekly answers get shorter. This is not failure - it is information.

When this happens, the instruction is to return to the heart meditation and stay there for a week before resuming the contradiction work. Not as a punishment - as a recalibration. The contradiction work requires the heart meditation to be available fast. If the heart meditation has become effortful again - if you're spending the first five minutes of the sit just getting out of your head - the tool needs sharpening before the work continues.

Seven days of heart meditation, morning sit plus five micro-practices per day, no contradiction scoring. Then return. Most students find the stalled contradiction becomes accessible immediately.

The tracker watches for this automatically. Three consecutive resets on the same contradiction with no score above 2 will surface a suggestion to pause and reset with the heart meditation. If you see that notice, take it seriously - it means the pattern is real, not a bad week.

When the Gate Opens

What completing this stage actually means.

When the seventh contradiction's pattern has genuinely held, Stage 4 unlocks. Before you move to it, read this carefully.

Completing Stage 3 does not mean the seven contradictions are resolved. They are not resolved. They are visible, interruptible, and no longer running on full autopilot. That is what criterion score means. Not that you've stopped distorting truth - that you can catch yourself distorting it and change course. Not that you've eliminated reactive behavior - that you have a gap between stimulus and response that didn't exist before.

The contradictions continue to be tracked throughout Stage 4 and beyond. They recede from the foreground and become background infrastructure - the same way Stage 2's five categories receded when you entered Stage 3. The tracking continues. The scoring continues. The work shifts focus, not jurisdiction.

What you have built in Stages 2 and 3 is the most important infrastructure in this entire curriculum. Every stage that follows assumes it is in place. Every student who bypasses it hits the ceiling of what they can build. You did not bypass it.

Stage 4 introduces concentration practice - formal, structured, daily. It will require everything you've built here. The attentional stability you've developed by interrupting contradictions is the exact resource the concentration work draws on. You are not starting Stage 4 from scratch. You are extending what you've already established.

What you've built is real. It will hold.
