Category 4 - Sexual Impropriety
Sexual behavior that violates consent, commitment, or another person's dignity. This category requires honest self-examination, not legal analysis. The legal threshold is not the relevant standard here. The relevant standard is: did my behavior respect the full humanity of the other person?
Week 1 - Seeing: no scoring yet. You're establishing that this category is real in your own life, moving deliberately from its most dramatic, unmistakable form early in the week to its smaller, easier-to-miss forms by the end of the week.
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." - Matthew 5:27-28
Behavior that would not survive transparency. Flirtation used deliberately as manipulation. Start with whatever version you already recognize without argument as crossing a line.
Today's Practice
Notice today whether any behavior around you - or your own - fits the unmistakable version of this category.
Evening Sit
10-minute sit. No scoring this week - just sit.
"Let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.'" - Matthew 5:37
A relationship or dynamic kept alive because ending it honestly would be harder than letting it continue ambiguously. This is a quieter version, and a common one - it doesn't require a dramatic act, just a sustained unwillingness to be clear.
Today's Practice
Notice one place today where clarity is owed and hasn't been given, in this domain.
Evening Sit
10-minute sit.
"Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." - Proverbs 4:23
Digital behavior that would not survive transparency. Private comparison or objectification never voiced or acted on. If you have to ask whether something belongs in this category, it probably does - that instinct to ask is itself useful data, not something to argue past.
Today's Practice
Notice, without acting on it, any private thought or habit today that you'd be unwilling to have made visible.
Evening Sit
10-minute sit.
"Flee from sexual immorality... you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." - 1 Corinthians 6:18-20
